Principal’s Memo
Posted onHi Everyone,
It’s almost time for students to come back! We have had a very busy week at OOBHS with teachers getting ready to return for two days of professional development next Monday and Tuesday. Our staff is excited to start the year and greet the students. School begins on Wednesday for freshmen, Thursday for everyone, with Open House that night from 6-8PM. Thursday will be a modified schedule. We will run all eight periods of the day and CLB in a shortened format. All class schedules, and information that you need is on the front of our webpage. There isn’t a great deal of new information since we sent the family letters (they are also on the homepage of our website) so please access our website for all of your questions https://oobhs.rsu23.org/. We’re on to 2018-2019!
New Staff Update
We have several new staff members joining us this year! This is a very exciting time for us as we continue to transform into a model 21st century school offering an unparalleled personalized education. Our new team members will contribute greatly to the relentless pursuit of our mission. Here they are, we are proud to have hired them and are very excited for the kids to meet them!

9th Grade Agenda Program
We are excited to announce that all freshmen will receive a school-provided agenda book to record classroom assignments during the 2018-2019 school year. This agenda program is designed to assist our students in developing skills for success in the adult world and to support students with organization and work completion. All freshmen will be required to use their school-issued agenda books. Expectations will be communicated to students during their first week of school. We thank you for your support!
