Bryar Tipton

I started working at Old Orchard Beach this fall, 2026. It has been so much fun getting to meet all of the wonderful teachers, school staff, students and community members here in the district. This area is new to me as I grew up in NH and went to the University of New Hampshire where I got my Bachelors Degree in Music Education. During my time at UNH I enjoyed performing with the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony and Marching Band. Go Wildcats! Prior to teaching here at OOBHS I taught music and directed many ensembles at Spaulding High School in Rochester, NH for several years.

Outside of teaching, my partner and I love to go hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming at the lake/beach and hammocking through the late spring, summer and early autumn months! In the winter months we like to tube down snowy hills, visit the chilly ice castles in northern NH and have cozy movie/game nights in. In my down time you can also catch me reading Harry Potter, listening to the Beatles or trying to draw… an activity that I love but am less than good at!
