What I do
When not working as a school nurse I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have two children, a son and daughter. On days off we often spend time with our extended family or friends. We are active in our community, whether it’s watching our OOB sporting events, attending events put on by our town recreation department, or our own children participating in sports. Old Orchard Beach is a special community and we feel lucky to be a part of it.
I am the school nurse at Loranger Memorial School, where I support students in grades 3–8 and share in caring for our high school students. I am passionate about helping create a healthy, safe, and supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
Before joining RSU 23, I spent 12 years as an acute care cardiac nurse at Maine Medical Center. I began working as a substitute school nurse in the district in 2020, where I quickly developed a deep appreciation for our students and school community. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a school nurse in this community and look forward to partnering with students and families in Old Orchard Beach to support their health and well-being.
