OOBHS Outing Club Hikes Mt. Kearsarge!
Posted onDo you love the outdoors? Do you enjoy activities like hiking, camping, kayaking, snowshoeing, and rock climbing? If so, the OOBHS Outing Club is the place for you.
Last weekend, a fearless group of OOB students braved the slippery slopes of Mt. Kearsarge (North) in the beautiful White Mountains of neighboring New Hampshire. With the aid of snowshoes, micro-spikes, and the occasional walking stick, they climbed this 3000-footer by way of a 3.1-mile approach trail. At the summit, they enjoyed well-earned snacks and 360-degree views from the last remaining fire tower in the Whites.
The Outing Club is co-advised by Mr. Muller and Mr. Lucchese and is open to all OOBHS students.
