Principal’s Memo
Posted onHi Everyone,
We are off to a great start and everyone is getting the chance to begin and settle into the rhythm of school. I’m sending the memo out a day early as there is no school tomorrow. Our staff has been excited greeting our students yesterday and today and we are looking forward to another awesome year. Please check in with your child regarding school forms that must be signed and returned. These permissions are crucial for us in terms of record keeping and tracking student data. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us at your convenience. Here are this week’s announcements:
Open House Tonight!
Open House is scheduled for tonight, August 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Parents and students are encouraged to attend and it’s an excellent opportunity to meet our amazing staff, tour the school, and experience a “day in the life” at Old Orchard Beach High School. Open house participants will receive student schedules upon arrival and light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you!
Chromebook Deployment
Chromebooks will be distributed to students during the week of September 3. Students will be able to pick-up their Chromebooks only if they have (1) returned a signed Device Responsibility Form, (2) returned a signed Chromebook Responsible Use Agreement, (3) paid the $50 participation fee, and (4) all outstanding invoices must be paid in full. Please make checks payable to RSU #23. We will begin collection of these documents and the device deposits at the Open House tonight.

All freshmen will be required to use their school-issued agenda books. Expectations will be communicated to students during their first week of school. We thank you for your support!
