What I do
After putting three daughters through college My wife and I are looking for an adventure. Choosing to move to Maine checked all the “boxes”. We love the outdoors and we have found that Maine has a lot to offer in that department. If I’m not on campus you will find Betty and I on a road trip somewhere in this beautiful Northeast part of the country.
I became a member of the Old Orchard Beach educational community in July of 2023 as the new High School Principal. I recently retired from Texas public schools where I was a district administrator for six years. I was also a campus principal at all three levels, Elementary, Middle School and High School. I began my educational career in 1997 as a 3rd grade teacher and later went into administration after receiving my masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2001.
My wife and I are not new to the cold weather as we spent three years stationed at Ft. Wainwright Alaska while I was serving in the US Army. Both my wife and I are excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Old Orchard community and look forward to all that Maine has to offer.
