Juniors and Seniors from the Art and Music programs at OOBHS traveled to Boston on April 1. The day-long adventure included a guided tour at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and an afternoon exploring at the Museum of Fine Arts. Students saw art and artifacts from all over the world, including a special exhibition of famed Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, and the musical instrument room at the MFA. The trip was a learning experience for many by taking public transportation on the Amtrak Downeaster and traveling to and from North Station on the T. It was an inspiring and exciting day!
Longtime OOB coach Dean Plante recorded his 200th career victory thanks to an 11-4 fourth quarter run by the Lady Gulls, who trailed 21-19 after three. Click here for the article.

Upon reviewing your outlined budget, we were able to locate items in our Gear Drive Inventory that matched your request. This year you are part of a community of twelve high school Outing Clubs that we are supporting. We hope that these gear items contribute to the sustainability of your Outing Club and that your school will continue to make outdoor opportunities available year after year to improve the health and happiness of your students!

The Spanish Club had a very successful club dinner at Quiero Café in Saco. The students enjoyed an authentic Latin American meal of yuca, plantains, empanadas, queso frito, patacones, cubanos, as well as burritos. The owner, Alejandra, and her staff spoke to our students only in Spanish, and it was fun to hear the students communicate, or in some cases attempt to communicate, in the target language. The kids enjoyed their meals and were all smiles.
