What I do
I enjoy spending time with close family and friends. I like going to the gym, cycling, cooking and reading memoirs.
My name is Jayne Howe and I teach Math at Old Orchard Beach High School. I come to Old Orchard with 1 year of teaching experience. I previously taught at Sanford Middle School, where I taught 8th grade Math. I have learned so much my first year about classroom management, building relationships and creating a positive and safe environment, where students can enjoy learning new math skills.
I graduated from Pembroke High School in Pembroke, MA, and have a Bachelors degree in mathematics and Secondary Education and a minor in English from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. I am planning on getting my Masters this summer as well.
