What I do

I spend my time outside of school rock climbing, reading, and cooking. I love to read novels and non-fiction books, and love cooking any recipe that involves noodles.

I come to Old Orchard Beach High School with experience that includes 4 years of teaching high school. Outside of education, I have worked as a technical writer, a bicycle mechanic, a letter carrier for the USPS, and an outdoor education instructor. I grew up in the Hudson Valley region of New York State.

I began my career in education at Morse High School in Bath, Maine. Since then, I have taught at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School where I was also a nordic ski coach, and worked as an outdoor educator with Rippleffect in Portland, Maine. No matter where I’ve been working, building relationships with those around me has been something I value, and has been a positive for me and the communities I’ve been a part of.

I graduated from Arlington High School in New York State, and I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in Astronautics and a minor in Communications from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is my first year teaching at Old Orchard Beach High School.
